The 2020 Calendar of Events for the Birmingham South Cluster is below. The Candlelight for each Walk is on Saturday Night at Camp Sumatanga, with the cluster gathering beginning at 7:45 PM.

Annual Overnight Training Event
The annual overnight training event is coming up August 16-17. Serving on an Emmaus team is something to be anticipated! Learn more about this ultimate form of service. The training sessions will be enjoyable as well as informative. As with any Emmaus event, there will be food, fun, fellowship, and music. Come spend some quiet time at camp, renew old friendships, and make some new ones! Registration is required by August 9th, and the form can be downloaded from https://alaemmaus.org/.

Birmingham Area Cluster Group Joint Picnic – Saturday June 15th (11AM – 2PM)
For our June cluster meeting, we are going to have a joint picnic with the other Birmingham area Emmaus Clusters, Birmingham East and South Shelby.
This will be held on Saturday, June 15th, at Mountain Chapel UMC (2541 Rocky Ridge Rd, Birmingham, AL 35243), from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The get together will be held at the picnic/playground area behind Mountain Chapel, or inside church (Fireside Room/Gym) in the event of rain. This is a FAMILY event, open to all. You may even want to consider inviting a friend/potential pilgrim to come have some fun with us! We are hoping that this will be a fun event for all, and an opportunity to socialize with the other clusters in our “grouping”.
